Death

This topic is a bit taboo because people think that talking about it means bad luck but I don't believe it. I think that things just happen, without any reason.
The death of someone close to us always hurts but I wonder one thing: if we didn't die, what would happen with the world? The world would be full of people and I think that things wouldn't be good enough, because if there is unemployment now, what would happen if the human race was immortal?
I only ask you one thing: would you like to be immortal?

My Favourite Game When I Was a Child

My favourite game when I was a child is called “Los Simpson, The Videogame”.
This game is about the Simpsons series, but in this game, Bart becomes a superhero and with his father he goes to save his mother and his sister who have been kidnapped by a mysterious man.
I like this video game because it was the first one that they gave me, along with my Nintendo DS. I've always played this game because it reminds me when I was little and my parents helped me to play.

I recommend this video game because it is very funny and very entertaining.

One Day in Tibidabo

One day in summer I was at home and it was very hot. I didn’t know what to make, watching TV, sleeping, going to the cinema… My mom suggested to go to the Tibidabo. I liked the idea, and l said:  “Yes. It’s a long time!” The rest of the day we prepared the backpack for the next day. The following day we went to the Tibidabo 😊 , and we went early to take advantage of the day. We took photographs, got on the rides, … At lunch time there were some abandoned cats and we gave them food. At night, we went home and we had very good memories of that day.

Jump rope

Apart from being a game that we have played when we were children, jump rope is one of the most complete exercises to get fit. This is also used to train in some sports like boxing, tennis or bodybuilding.
This exercise is used especially in boxing to improve the coordination and balance. It can also be used as a warm-up to do other workouts.  It accelerates our heart and helps to avoid cardiovascular problems. It also tones all our muscles because it works the lower and upper part of our body. But remember to warm up your wrists and ankles before jumping rope to avoid lesions.
At the beginning it can be complicated because it requires a big effort but with practice everything can be possible. If we dominate the normal jump rope, we can make it more difficult doing different tricks like Side to Side, Cross Step, Side Straddle, Twisters, Double Unders… There are more than 50 tricks that we can do with the rope.
If we aren’t good at this exercise we have to keep calm and remember that it’s just a fun activity that doesn’t search who is the best or the fastest.
If we want to improve we should not throw in the towel and continue practicing.

The 100

Now I’m going to explain you the series of The 100.
The 100 is an American post-apocalyptic science fiction drama television series, created by Jason Rothenberg.  This series is based on the book of The 100 created by Kass Morgan. It has 4 seasons and the 5th season is being recorded. Now I will explain you the plot of the series.
It’s been ninety-seven years since the Earth was destroyed by a nuclear war. The people who were saved from the war, went to live in space in twelve space ships. In the present these twelve space ships joined in just one that is called The Ark. The Ark has a big problem because there are a lot of people living inside and there isn’t enough food.

The smallest crime is declared with the death penalty unless you are a minor. The minor will be imprisoned until they are adults, when they are adults they declare them the death penalty. They send a group of one hundred young delinquents to the Earth to find out if the planet is habitable again.
The main characters are:
·         Clarke Griffin as Eliza Taylor: Clarke was one of the original hundred delinquents sent down to Earth. Clarke was a medical apprentice. After several deaths on the ground, Clarke becomes a co-leader.

·         Abigail Griffin as Paige Turco: Abigail is Clake’s mother and she’s also a doctor.
·         Octavia Blake as Marie Avgeropoulos: Octavia was one of the original hundred delinquents sent down to Earth. Octavia often helped Clarke as a medical assistant.
·         Bellamy Blake as Bob Morley: Bellamy is Octavia’s brother. Bellamy is infiltrated in the space ship that the hundred delinquents were going. Bellamy becomes a co-leader.
·         Monty Green as Christopher Larkin: Monty was one of the original hundred delinquents sent down to Earth.
·         Thelonious Jaha as Isaiah Washington: Thelonious is the Council that governed the Ark. (He had a major role on the Ark, that brought on many hard decisions and challenges.)
·         Marcus Kane as Henry Ian Cusick: Kane was on the Council when they decided to send the 100 to Earth.

How to make a crème caramel

Ingredients:
- 500 ml of milk
- 6 big eggs
- 8 gr of instant coffee
- 100 gr of white sugar
- Liquid candy

Preparation:
1. Beat the eggs and the sugar in one bowl until they have a clear colour after a little time.
2. Later add the milk and the instant coffee and continue beating.
3. Toss the candy in the base of another bowl, but just a little because it is only for varnishing. Then add the mixture of the first bowl.
4. Heat water until it boils.
5. We put the bowl of crème caramel and other ingredients into the bowl of water. The water is up to the middle. We cover and we leave cooking.
6. Thee crème caramel will be ready so we take it out the bowl and we wait unit it gets cool.
7. We put in it in the fridge, because it has a best flavour.

8. We put in the plate and we add candy (face down).

Nerve, One Game Without Rules

Hi blogger! Do you know this film?

The student Venus “Vee”, sees one e-mail which makes her accept or reject her admission to university that same day. Vee wishes to leave her house to go to university, but she’s afraid of explaining her decision to his mother. This attitude is because her mother is still from the death of his children. Her best friend Sydney becomes popular on “Nerve” the game of reality on-line, where you can register as a “player” and achieve a more difficult challenge every day, or you can pay to behave as an “observer”. As Vee is very shy, her friends force her to make a challenge, but she refuses. Later, Vee decides to register as a player. Then she knows Ian, other player, and her observers decide they must play together. They fall in love during the night. Vee fights with her best friend and loses her nervous, then she goes to the police office and explain all. When she finishes talking, they hit her because she has broken one rule. When she wakes up, she is found in a container of the port, and Ian explains what happened to her. Then Vee and Ian play the final test to see who leaves this game.

Solve the crime

The students of 2nd ESO have been preparing a Cooperative Project about different types of crime.
The first part of our project consists in completing many warm-up activities to learn crime vocabulary and reading some texts about stories of crimes. Then, we listen to the dialogue of a robbery in a jewellery. All these warm-up activities have been a model to follow to prepare our final product.
You can see a robbery, a murder, a kidnapping…etc. We are very good actresses and actors.
We hope that you’ll enjoy our films!

3rd ESO Project: A Tale about Emotions

A month and a half ago, we started a Project about the emotions. We began describing the emotions and learning about them. Then, we began our final product, a tale that includes a lot of feelings. We reunited in groups and started the Project.

Those days, we were doing some activities like express our emotions after listening to sounds, write the dialogues, design the settings and the story-board… To create the video, we work not also in English classes but in ICT too. Finally we could see all our projects together, and we have enjoyed them a lot!!
